We’re Hiring An Application Developer

Mudbug Media is a New Orleans based strategic design and development agency. We provide custom business solutions for a variety of local, national, and international clients.

Our programming department is offering a full-time position to a bright individual with experience developing with either Ruby on Rails, LAMP, or .NET web applications. Applicants must be able to produce clean, maintainable code while working collaboratively on an agile team.

All of our applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies - we are always training
  • Proficiency with version control (Git is preferred)
  • Experience with Test Driven Development
  • Fluent with core web technologies ( HTML, CSS, JavaScript/CoffeeScript)
  • Relational database experience required (MySQL, Postgres)
  • Comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment
  • At least 2 years of professional software development experience

We’re Hiring An SEM/Analytics Specialist

The SEM/Analytics Specialist will assist clients on understanding how potential customers are reaching and using their websites. Applicants will have an interest in the constantly evolving analytics and search engine field, as well as an eagerness for problem solving and goal achievement. Likewise, applicants must be able to condense data into actionable insights and communicate these insights to clients.

In addition, the SEM/Analytics Specialist will collaborate with the rest of the Mudbug team on larger products to achieve analytical, usability, and/or search visibility objectives.
