Graphic Design Intern

Our graphic design department is currently seeking a creative, self-motivated individual for a paid internship position. Candidates should demonstrate beginning mastery of communication design for print, page layout, graphic design for websites, web page layout, web typography, and interactive elements. Candidates should also be able to produce those layouts to XHTML / CSS standards for consistent cross-browser rendering using Adobe Dreamweaver. Professional knowledge of modern design tools are expected and required, including the Adobe CS4 Suite. The best graphic design candidates will demonstrate neat presentation, craftsmanship and ability to communicate clearly.

Eligibility:
  • Graphic Design or equivalent major
  • Minimum of Junior or Senior in good academic standing
  • Organized and deadline oriented
  • Candidate must demonstrate competent skills with the Adobe Creative Suite (CS4) – Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Fireworks
  • CSS experience preferred
  • Acceptance based on resume and portfolio review demonstrating skill with web, corporate identity, and print

Programming Intern

Our programming department is offering a paid internship to a bright individual wanting to develop database-driven web applications. The person must be able to produce high quality patterned code, write meaningful documentation, and complete projects in a timely manner.

All of our applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent major
  • Junior or Senior in good academic standing
  • Software engineering experience
  • Good documentation skills
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of current web-based technologies and trends is a plus (PHP, Ruby, ASP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Rails, AJAX, etc.)
  • Must work on-site in our New Orleans CBD office
