Mail Setup, Microsoft Outlook Express
To begin, open Outlook Express, click the
Tools menu and select
Accounts... A new window should appear.

On the
Internet Accounts window, click the
Add button and select
Mail... from the menu that pops up. Another window will appear.

For the first step of the wizard, enter your name as you would like it to appear to others you send e-mail to (e.g. John, John Smith, or Dr. John Smith). Click
Next to continue.

When the wizard asks for your e-mail address, enter your
full email address (e.g.
johnsmith@example.com) and then click
Next to continue.

On the
E-mail Server Names step, fill in the following information:
- My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
- For the incoming server field, enter pop.fusemail.net
- For the outgoing server field, enter smtp.fusemail.net
Click Next to continue.

For the Internet Mail Logon step, use the following information:
- Account Name: Enter your full e-mail address, including the domain name (e.g. johnsmith@example.com).
- Password: Enter the password for accessing your account here. Remember to check your caps lock key so you do not type in CAPS by mistake.
- Make sure to select Remember password so that Outlook will not have to ask you again.
Click Next to continue.

Finally, click Finish to complete the wizard.

You will be returned to the Internet Accounts window. Select your mail account and then click on the Properties button.

Click the Servers tab and then check the My server requires Authentication checkbox.

Click OK to return to the Internet Accounts window and then click Close.

Everything should now be complete. Upon clicking Finish, click the Send/Receive button on the Outlook toolbar to make sure everything has been setup properly.
Note: Many Internet service providers block outgoing mail to third party mail servers, such as ours, in an effort to prevent their customers from spamming. If you encounter problems sending outgoing mail, we recommend you use your internet service provider's outgoing mail server instead. Please contact them directly to ask for their outgoing (SMTP) mail server address.
