Mail Setup, Microsoft Office Outlook XP/2003
To begin, first open Outlook. Now select
Tools from the main drop-down menu and choose
E-mail Accounts...

Make sure the option for
Add a new email account is selected. Click
Next to continue.

On the following screen, select
POP3 and click the
Next button.

Use the following information for the third step that should now appear.
User Information:
- Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear to others you send e-mail to (e.g. John, John Smith, or Dr. John Smith).
- E-mail Address: Enter your full e-mail address, including the domain (e.g. johnsmith@example.com). This should be typed in all lower case.
Server Information:
- For the incoming mail server, enter pop.fusemail.net
- For the outgoing mail server, enter smtp.fusemail.net
Logon Information:
- User Name: Enter your full e-mail address, including the domain name (e.g. johnsmith@example.com), in this box.
- Password: Enter the password for accessing your account here. Remember to check your caps lock key so you do not type in CAPS by mistake.
- Make sure to select Remember password so that Outlook will not have to ask you again.
When you are done entering in your account information, click More Settings to continue

Click on the Outgoing Server tab and check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.” Click OK to exit the More Settings window.

Finally, click Next and then Finish to complete the wizard.

Everything should now be complete. Upon clicking Finish, click the Send/Receive button on the Outlook toolbar to make sure everything has been setup properly.
Note: Many Internet service providers block outgoing mail to third party mail servers, such as ours, in an effort to prevent their customers from spamming. If you encounter problems sending outgoing mail, we recommend you use your internet service provider's outgoing mail server instead. Please contact them directly to ask for their outgoing (SMTP) mail server address.
